One of the means used to support these activities is through the CMA Ontario's 'District' infrastructure. There are nine geographically-based Districts in the province of Ontario. For each District, a management committee of volunteer CMAs is responsible for the operations and events organized throughout the year. The events may be professionally oriented or simply of a social nature. It may be a topical speaker for one event or a brewery tour or golf tournament the next.
