Eligible candidates are able to register for the Entrance Exam and Preparation Program online by visiting the CMA Member Portal at http://members.cma-ontario.org. For students who prefer to complete a paper application form, please contact CMA Ontario for a copy of the form at 416-204-3102 or 1-866-999-3102 or info@cmaontario.org. Please note that repeat writers are required to register using a paper form. University or applied degree graduates who have completed the required topics with a minimum grade of 60% in each undergraduate course or 70% in each graduate course are eligible to write the examination. Detailed Examination requirements may be viewed by clicking here. The Entrance Examination is a comprehensive test of accounting knowledge gained through university studies. The testing focuses on the topic areas covered in the Entrance Examination as follows: Management Accounting, Corporate Finance, Financial Accounting and Taxation. A smaller portion of the examination (approximately 15%) will be devoted to the remaining CMA competencies. Please refer to the CMA Competency Map Entrance Requirements for a full listing of required topics. The Entrance Examination is held twice each year, in mid-June and mid-October. The exam is four hours in duration and is comprised of 100-120 multiple choice questions. The pass mark of
the examination is 60%, and must be successfully completed to be eligible to enter the Strategic Leadership

2010 CMA Entrance Examination applications are mailed to qualified candidates approximately five to six weeks prior to the deadline. Results of the Entrance Examination are available on the CMA Canada web site approximately eight weeks after each exam. Are you eligible to write the CMA Entrance Examination?
